Sign in to Mail
Use your personal app identity. Your passkey stays with your device or password manager. On an approved device, Mail stays signed in for 60 days. Use Lock Mail or Sign out on a shared device.
Recover access
Use one of your saved recovery codes, then register a new passkey. Recovery signs out your other devices and replaces previous passkeys.
Set up your passkey
Your invitation sets up your own team account. It does not share mailbox passwords.
Approve this device
Open Devices on an already approved device, or ask your team administrator to approve this request. Compare this code before approving:

Finish owner setup
Your existing mail app keeps working until you activate team access. Before activation, add a second passkey and save your recovery codes in Security. Activation imports the existing mailboxes and drafts, then requires personal app sign-in on every device.
My mailboxes
Choose which assigned mailboxes appear in your inbox. Notification choices apply only to this device; enable notifications in Mail after saving.
Phone notification check
Install Mail on your phone, open it, approve the device, select notification mailboxes here, then enable notifications in Mail Settings. Lock the phone and check that a newly arriving email appears. Server acceptance does not confirm that the phone displayed it.
Devices
Each browser or installed PWA can appear separately. Approve only a request whose code matches the other device.
Passkeys and recovery
Keep a second passkey on another authenticator and save recovery codes somewhere you can access without this workspace.
Recovery codes
Each code works once. Creating new codes invalidates previous unused codes.
People
New members start with no mailbox access. Give access explicitly after creating their invitation.
Share this one-use link with the intended person. No invitation email has been sent.
Selecting all applies to current mailboxes only. New mailboxes need a separate grant.
Mailbox connections
Connect a mailbox once, then assign access in People. Connecting a mailbox does not automatically grant message access to an administrator.
